Responsibilities
Responsible for leading a small team 2-4 people.
Contribute to strategic plans and reviews by providing operations information and recommendations.
Prepare and execute action plans to achieve operational goals.
Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
Resolve operational problems and conduct audits to identify trends.
Determine product handling and storage requirements to develop operations systems.
Establish, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures related to operations.
Develop processes for efficient product receiving, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
Analyze and improve organizational processes, workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Enhance job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
Collaborate with the General Manager and management team to establish and implement policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring follow-through with implementation.
Communicate operational policies and address issues during department meetings.
Work closely with the inventory manager and team to analyze inventory, ensure effective utilization, purchase appropriate equipment, maintain accurate inventory data, and reduce sub-rental expenses.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree / Completion of a two-year technical school program
Five plus years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, SAP, internet usage, and email.
Familiarity with Autocad or similar software.
Strong interpersonal abilities and adept at managing multiple priorities with professionalism, ethics, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
